Santiago Alvarez

Santiago Alvarez is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the private equity and entrepreneurship sectors. As the Co-founder and Managing Partner of ALIVE Ventures since 2016, Santiago has been instrumental in fostering innovation and investment in various startups. In addition, Santiago serves on the boards of multiple organizations, including Teclogi, Crehana, and Finaktiva, while also contributing as an Investment Committee Member at CO_Capital. Santiago's educational background includes an MBA in Finance, Private Equity, and Entrepreneurship from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, an MSc in Poverty Reduction and Development Management from the University of Birmingham, and a BE in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, among other qualifications.
