Anthony Barney has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Anthony is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Co-Diagnostics, Inc, starting in 2021. Prior to this, Barney worked at Advance Manufacturing Technology Inc. from 2002 to 2018, where they held multiple positions such as Partner, Board of Directors, CEO, and Information Technology Manager. Their responsibilities included defining corporate strategy, capital planning, KPI oversight, IT management, and designing and deploying computer and network systems.
Barney also worked at Advanced Conceptions as a Mechanical Engineer from 2021 to 2022 and at ETC Group, LLC as a Project Manager from 2021 to 2021.
In addition, they founded and served as CEO of AMTAC Suppressors from 2015 to 2019, where they designed, patented, and marketed firearm suppressors and achieved nationwide distribution.
Further back in their career, Barney worked as a Design Consulting Team Leader at the National Ignition Facility from 2000 to 2002, and as a Senior Implementation Consultant at PTC from 1998 to 2002. In these roles, they provided design and implementation expertise for engineering software solutions.
Barney also worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at TRW Defense & Space Systems Group from 1997 to 1998, focusing on the mechanical design of digital processors for spacecraft applications and communications satellites.
Lastly, they started their career as a Machinist at Advance Manufacturing Technology Inc. in 1990, where they operated CNC lathes and mills, performed CNC programming, and designed fixtures.
Anthony Barney obtained a Master of Information Systems Management degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, which they pursued from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University between the years 1991 and 1997.
