Herluf Nissen

Herluf Nissen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Herluf is currently the General Manager at Barkath Coro Sdn Bhd, where they are responsible for the general management of the Malaysian joint venture company. Prior to this, they worked at CO-RO as the Head of Regional Supply Chain, APAC, where they managed the regional supply chain operations across four sites.

Before their role in CO-RO, Herluf Nissen founded and was a partner at Nissen Estate ApS (NIVOLO). Herluf also held positions at CO-RO as the Manufacturing Director, overseeing juice concentrate production and as the Functional Manager - Engineering, responsible for global engineering management.

Additionally, they worked at Binzagr CO-RO LTD. as the Operations Manager and the Technical Manager - Projects, focusing on improving operational efficiency and staff engagement.

Herluf Nissen also has experience as the Factory Manager at ARM A/S Steel Solutions, where they managed stainless-steel subcontracting projects. Prior to that, they worked at KDD as the Project Department Manager, overseeing various projects in the dairy industry. Herluf also held the role of Project Manager - Dairy, managing projects in liquid processing and utility upgrades.

Earlier in their career, Herluf Nissen worked as a Stainless Smith/Machinist at different companies.

Herluf Nissen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Technology Management and Marine Engineering from the Marine Engineering school in Esbjerg, Denmark. Herluf completed their studies at this institution from 2001 to 2004. The field of study they focused on was Technology Management.
