Colin Kaltenecker

Colin Kaltenecker has a diverse work experience in the field of coaching and teaching. Colin began their career in 2012 as a Recreation Instructor for the City of Columbus, where they provided instruction in various leisure activities. In 2014, they became the Freshman Wide Receiver Coach at Saint Charles Preparatory School, teaching ball-catching techniques and route-running concepts. Colin continued coaching wide receivers at Bexley City Schools in 2016, where they also broke down opponents' coverages and organized game film and stats. From 2017 to 2019, Colin served as a Substitute Teacher and Wide Receiver Coach at Madison Plains High School, instructing receivers on catching, blocking, and releasing. Colin also organized game film and stats using Hudl.com and Maxpreps. In 2020, they worked as a Physical Education Teacher at Eastland Performance Academy, where they taught tennis and fundamental motor skills to students. Colin also promoted a safe and individualized learning environment and conducted ongoing assessments. Colin then moved on to Watkins Memorial High School, where they served as an Assistant Football Coach, coaching quarterbacks and teaching pre and post-snap reads. In 2022, Colin became an Elementary School Teacher at St. Charles Borromeo School, and in 2023, they took on roles as an Assistant Football Coach at Taft Charter High School and Los Angeles Pierce College. Throughout their career, Colin has demonstrated a passion for coaching and teaching, with a particular focus on sports and physical education.

Colin Kaltenecker attended Saint Charles Preparatory from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Following that, they attended Columbus State Community College from 2009 to 2012, majoring in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management. Colin then transferred to The Ohio State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from 2012 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Colin also obtained several certifications. In November 2013, they completed the "Protecting God's Children" program offered by the Diocese of Columbus. In June 2017, they became First Aid Certified through the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association. More recently, in June 2021, Colin obtained the "Pupil Activity Permit" from the Ohio Department of Education and the "Multi-Age Specialty Teacher" certification in areas such as Music from the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio.
