Don E. King Jr has had a long and varied career. In 1987, they began their professional career as a Professional Football Player for the NFL Alumni Association. In 2008, they became an Educator for Waxahachie ISD. In 2009, they founded King Sports Link and served as its CEO. Don E. also became a NESTA Certified Lifestyle Weight Management Specialist, helping clients solve the mental and physical challenges of enhancing their health and well-being. In 2010, they became an Advocare Independent Silver Distributor. In 2013, they founded King Sports Link Fitness, becoming a NESTA Certified Fitness Nutrition Coach, a NESTA Certified Group Exercise Instructor, and a NESTA Certified Personal Fitness & Speed, Agility, Quickness Trainer. Finally, in 2014, they became a Certified Personal Trainer/Coach for CoachUp.

Don E. King Jr. attended JF Kimball HS from 1979 to 1982. Don E. then attended Southern Methodist University from 1982 to 1985, studying Sociology. In 1994, they earned a BAAS in Interdisciplinary Studies from Dallas Baptist University. Don E. also obtained a certification as a NESTA Personal Fitness Trainer from the National Exercise Sports Trainers Association.
