John McAllister

John McAllister has extensive experience in the health and welfare benefits industry. John served as the SVP Health & Welfare Programs at CoAdvantage from 2017 to present. Prior to that, they were the President of Progressive Employer Insurance Agency, a subsidiary of PEMCO, starting in 2012 and their responsibilities included procurement, plan design, compliance, sales & operational training, underwriting, and employee communication. From 2010 to 2012, they held the position of Executive Vice President at WorkLife HR. Before that, they worked as a Benefits Consultant/Business Owner at Insurance Office of America from 2006 to 2011, helping business owners and executives manage health care risk. John was also the National Director of Sales at Advantec from 2004 to 2006, Vice President of Operations at The CURA Group from 2002 to 2004, and President and Owner of Employers 1st Trust from 1996 to 2001.

John McAllister completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of South Florida, which they attended from 1990 to 1995. Prior to that, they earned a High School Diploma from Tampa Catholic High School between 1985 and 1989. Additionally, in June 2015, John obtained a certification as a Health Care Reform Specialist from the Health Care Reform Congress.
