Wayne Green

Wayne Green is an accomplished mining professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the mining industry. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Coal Services Pty Limited since August 2019, Wayne also holds the position of General Manager for NSW Mines Rescue. Prior to this, Wayne worked as Mining Engineering Manager at South32, where responsibilities included safety, compliance, and mining operations at Dendrobium Mine. Additional roles include Technical Services Superintendent and Project Construction Manager at Peabody Energy, as well as Development & Gas Drainage Superintendent at Excel Coal Ltd. Wayne's educational qualifications include multiple master's degrees in law, business administration, management, and mining engineering, complemented by a graduate diploma in mine ventilation and a mining engineering manager practising certificate. Ongoing professional development is pursued through the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
