David Johnson has an extensive background in software engineering and technology leadership. David is currently employed as a Staff Engineer at Coalesce.io since 2023. Prior to this, David served as the Founder & Principal Developer at Lanson Labs LLC from 2016 to 2023, where they led the technical architecture of the Aptos ONE platform. David also co-founded SkillStore, Inc. in 2014, where they served as the Co-Founder & CTO, providing overall technology leadership for the startup.

Before SkillStore, David worked again at Lanson Labs LLC from 2008 to 2014 as the Founder & Principal Developer. During this time, they engineered software for Portmont College and served as a hands-on virtual CTO at UsingMiles, completely re-engineering their platform.

Prior to Lanson Labs LLC, David was the CTO at Mocapay from 2007 to 2008, overseeing all technology development and IT operations. David was responsible for building and deploying Mocapay's secure payments platform using Java, Spring, and Linux.

David commenced their career at Microsoft from 1995 to 2001, where they participated in the development of groundbreaking products as a Program Manager/Software Development Engineer on the Microsoft Exchange Server team.

Additionally, David has experience working at StorePerform Technologies as the Director of Technology, playing a key role in creating their flagship WorkBench product before its acquisition by RedPrairie in 2007.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in various programming languages and technologies, including TypeScript, node.js, React, React Native, MySQL, Couchbase, RabbitMQ, AWS, Kubernetes, Python, Java, Apex (SalesForce), Angular, JavaScript, MySQL, MongoDB, and open-source technologies.
