Matt Lonsdale

Matt Lonsdale is a Senior Legal Counsel at Coast Capital Savings, where responsibilities include supporting major IT projects and resolving legal issues related to software licenses and cloud services agreements. Prior experience includes serving as Legal Counsel for The City of Calgary, providing legal advice in areas including Intellectual Property and Telecommunications, while also negotiating significant technology contracts. Matt has educational qualifications comprising a Juris Doctor from Dalhousie University and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Pure Mathematics from the University of Calgary. Additional roles have included teaching Business Law for Contract Managers and providing copyright advisory services at Mount Royal University, as well as gaining litigation experience during an articling position at Rush Ihas Hardwick LLP.
