April Lollar, APR, CCC has over 20 years of work experience in various communication and information services roles. April started their career in 2000 as an Associate Editor for Coast Magazine and Coast Business Journal, where they contributed to regional magazine and monthly business publication. In 2001, they joined InDyne Inc. as an Information Services Specialist, focusing on data management and analysis. In 2005, April started working at Coast Electric Power Association, initially as a Media Services Executive, responsible for media relations and communication strategies. Since 2017, they have been serving as the Director of Communications, overseeing the organization's communication initiatives. April Lollar has proven expertise in communication, media relations, and information services.
April Lollar, APR, CCC pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, with a specialization in Magazine Service Journalism, from the University of Mississippi. April attended the university from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, in December 2008, April became Accredited in Public Relations from PRSA. April further acquired the Certified Cooperative Communicator certification from NRECA in June 2014.
