Stephen Lau

Stephen Lau, PhD, has extensive experience in both the transit and scientific sectors. Currently serving as a Line Instructor and Transit Operator at Coast Mountain Bus Company since June 2018, Stephen previously held roles including Assistant Department Head for Dairy & Frozen at T & T Supermarket and Director of PCR Applications at Applied Biological Materials from January 2012 to October 2017. Prior to these positions, Stephen worked as a Senior Scientist at JML Biopharm Inc and gained teaching and research experience as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia, where Stephen completed a Ph.D. in Enzymology and Bio-organic Chemistry. Stephen also holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the same institution.
