Chris Fettes

Chris Fettes has had extensive work experience in the electric cooperative industry. Chris started their career at Electrical Consulting Engineers, Inc. in 1993, where they worked as a Project Manager until 1999. Following that, they joined Brunswick EMC as a System Engineer from 1999 to 2006. In 2007, they joined Coastal Electric Cooperative as the Manager of Engineering, and later assumed the role of VP Engineering & Operations in 2009. Finally, in 2020, Chris was promoted to Chief Executive Officer at Coastal Electric Cooperative.

Chris Fettes attended Clemson University from 1988 to 1993, earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. There is no information available regarding any education beyond their time at Clemson University, although they have some affiliation with NRECA.
