Hazel Stark

Hazel Stark is a co-owner and CEO of Maine Outdoor School, L3C, which specializes in custom outdoor learning experiences and guided activities in Downeast Maine. In addition, Hazel serves as a program facilitator for CEI, focusing on support for Maine female entrepreneurs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Previous roles include coordinating the Fish Friends program for the Maine Council of the Atlantic Salmon Federation, grant writing and newsletter coordination at Cobscook Institute, and tutoring writing at various educational institutions. Hazel's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Resource Management and Conservation from Antioch University New England, as well as extensive graduate-level studies in place-based education and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Ecology from College of the Atlantic.
