John Casey

Vice President, Operations at Coastal Medical Transportation Systems

John Casey has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. John started their career as an On-Ice Official for the NATIONAL ICE HOCKEY OFFICIAL ASSOCIATION in 2010. John then worked as an Emergency Preparedness and EMS Coordinator, EMS Manager, and Assistant Resident Director at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2008 to 2016. During this time, they also served as the EMS Director of Field Operations.

In 2016, John became a Firefighter Paramedic for the Town of Lexington. John was responsible for providing emergency medical care and assistance.

John then worked as an Assistant Operations Manager for Trinity Emergency Medical Services from 2010 to 2015.

From 2015 to 2018, John worked as a Paramedic for Armstrong Ambulance, where they administered advanced life support and provided care to patients in a pre-hospital setting.

In 2019, they joined Transformative Healthcare as the Director of Operations. John later became the General Manager, overseeing ambulance and chair car services, ensuring operational readiness and compliance, managing resources and schedules, and handling personnel performance and customer satisfaction.

In 2021, John joined Lavi Project Inc as a member of the Board of Directors.

Most recently, they started working as the Vice President of Operations for Coastal Medical Transportation Systems in 2022.

John Casey's education history includes attending Arlington High School from 2002 to 2006. Following high school, they attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2006 to 2010, studying Criminal Justice. In 2010, they also completed a program in Paramedicine at EMTs INC. John Casey has also obtained various certifications, such as the Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic certification from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health in 2011 and the Firefighter I & II certification from the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications in 2016. Additionally, they have obtained certifications for Hazardous Materials Operations Level Responder, Basic Instructor Certificate, Master Continuity Practitioner, Massachusetts Certified Emergency Manager, Professional Development Series, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and CPR/First Aid Instructor.
