Darren Story

Darren Story has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Darren began their career as a Brokers Assistant at ABN Amro North America in 2000, followed by a role as an Options Strategist at Millenium Partners in 2001. From 2002 to 2015, Darren worked at Student Options, LLC, where they served as an Institutional Sales and Trading Manager. In 2004, they joined Liberty 2 Realty as a Licensed Sales Agent and Investment Analyst, specializing in distressed rental properties and conducting thorough due diligence for clients. During their tenure, Darren accomplished several milestones, including reviving a 3 million dollar commercial lease transaction and being an early adopter of agent credit-back refunds. In 2015, they joined Owners.com as a Realtor Associate, focusing on becoming a buyers agent. Currently, Darren is the Chief Financial Officer at Coastal Sun Farm – Strong Agronomy, a regenerative organic agricultural producer.

Darren Story completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Arizona State University, from 1995 to 2000. Darren later pursued a Master of Science degree in Financial Analysis from the University of San Francisco, which they completed from 2005 to 2007. Darren also obtained additional certifications, including the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst from the CAIA Association in December 2008, and the Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute in August 2007.
