Jared McDonald

Jared McDonald has extensive work experience in the field of formulation development. Jared started their career as an Analytical Chemist at Coating Place Inc. in 2002, where they performed testing of raw materials and finished products. Jared then worked as a Formulation Chemist, responsible for experimentation on coating units and troubleshooting equipment.

Jared's roles at Coating Place Inc. progressed, and they became a Formulation Development Project Manager, collaborating closely with clients to develop customized coating formulas and processes. Jared also held the position of Senior Formulation Scientist, managing projects from lab scale to commercial manufacturing.

In 2014, Jared was promoted to Formulations Manager, overseeing all formulation scientists in the department. Jared drafted SOPs, technical presentations, and client proposals in addition to supporting equipment qualification and process validation.

In 2016, Jared was further promoted to Director of Formulation Development, where they managed and trained a department of 15-20 members across two manufacturing sites. Jared generated statistically supported data for publications and marketing, contributing to the company's growth.

Currently, Jared holds the position of VP of Formulation Development at Coating Place Inc., starting in April 2023. Jared'srole involves strategic leadership and overseeing the formulation department.

In addition to their work at Coating Place Inc., Jared also worked as a Brand Ambassador at 45th Parallel Spirits starting in November 2021.

Jared McDonald completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point from 1998 to 2002.
