Nate Gallardo has a diverse work experience in the field of game design and development. Nate started their career at If You Can where they worked as a Designer and Sound Designer. During their time there, they became a generalist developer and contributed to various aspects of game design. Nate then worked as a Freelance Sound Designer at Gallardo Sound before joining A BRAVE PLAN LIMITED as a Game Designer. Nate later joined Small Jelly where they served as a Game Designer & Developer on Rocket Rumble, a multiplayer collectible card game. Nate was responsible for game design, prototyping, implementation, and sound design. After that, Nate joined Bossa Studios as a Senior Game Designer, where they played a pivotal role in the development of Surgeon Simulator 2. Nate acted as a vision holder, creative lead, and game designer, overseeing the entire creative direction of the game. In 2021, Nate joined Flavourworks as the Lead Game Designer, leading the game design team until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Game Designer at Coatsink. Throughout their career, Nate has also worked as a Freelance Game Design Consultant and Independent Developer, developing and releasing games independently. Nate has extensive experience in various aspects of game development, including conceptualization, design, implementation, coding, 3D modeling, graphic design, and sound design.
Nate Gallardo attended London South Bank University from 2010 to 2013, where they pursued a degree in Music & Sonic Media. Their field of study was Sound Design, with a focus on Film, Music, and Games.
