Rob Canciello has a diverse work experience in the gaming and virtual reality (VR) industry. Rob started their career at Playcrafting as a Teacher's Assistant, helping students learn Unity. Rob later became an Instructor, teaching the Learn Unity in 8 Weeks program.
In 2017, Rob worked at the New York Film Academy as the VR, Game Design, and Animation Program Coordinator. Rob'sresponsibilities included managing schedules, organizing materials, and networking with local game developers.
Rob also had roles at Move38, Inc., where they were a Game Design Intern and worked on refining and developing projects using the Blinks API. Rob also conceptualized and led the design of the Thesis game project "Crownfall".
At Prisms of Reality, Rob worked as a VR Creative Designer and Producer. Rob designed the UX, UI, and environments for a STEM-focused VR experience and led the Art and Design team.
Rob's freelancing experience includes working with Made in Brooklyn Games as a Freelance VR Level Designer, Producer, and Consultant. Rob created and guided VR-focused content for the Museum Multiverse project.
Rob also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Bloomfield College, teaching game-related courses.
Rob's most recent experience includes working as a UX Designer & Dev Lead at Double Eye Studios, where they worked on a VR variety show pilot called "Skits & Giggles".
Currently, Rob is working at Coatsink as an XR & Game Designer.
Rob Canciello attended The College of New Jersey from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interactive Multimedia and Digital Art.
