Chris Capistran

Chris Capistran has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Chris served as the President of The Cobalt Company, where they focused on product development, sales, and marketing. Prior to being President, they were the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for day-to-day operations and overseeing software implementation teams.

Before their time at The Cobalt Company, Chris worked at the American Council of Engineering Companies as the International Marketing and Development Manager. In this role, they provided guidance to architectural and engineering firms on effective marketing strategies in Asia and Latin America. Chris also collaborated with overseas private and public sectors and multilateral development banks to develop infrastructure projects and identify potential partners for US firms.

Chris also worked at the US Department of State as the Regional Program Manager in the Office of Foreign Missions. Chris acted as a liaison between the Department of State, foreign diplomatic corps, and government agencies. Chris also engaged with the northern California business community.

Overall, Chris has held leadership positions and played crucial roles in various organizations, demonstrating their experience in sales, marketing, operations, international marketing, and diplomatic relations.

Chris Capistran attended Georgetown University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Foreign Service with a focus on Science, Technology & International Affairs. Chris then pursued further studies at the University of San Francisco School of Management from 1998 to 2000, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Strategic Management.

In addition to their formal education, Chris Capistran has also obtained certifications in the field of Microsoft Dynamics. In April 2012, they acquired the MBSS: Managing Microsoft Dynamics Implementations certification from Microsoft. More recently, in July 2022, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant Associate certification from the same institution.
