David Olave

David Olave is a highly experienced engineering professional with a robust background in software engineering and design for the broadcast and digital television industry. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at Cobalt Digital since July 2021, and also working as a Design Engineer at D2D Technologies since July 2019, David has previously held positions including Senior Software Engineer at Saft and Embedded Systems Engineer at Adtec Digital. David holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Florida, obtained in 2016 and 2004, respectively. Notably, David has excelled in leading technical teams and designing innovative solutions related to digital video encoding and broadcasting.
