John Snow is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in FPGA design and digital hardware systems, currently serving as a Sr. FPGA Engineer at Cobalt Digital since October 2015. In addition to this role, John Snow is actively involved in the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) as a member and chair of the TC-32NF-80 working group since June 2007. John Snow also contributes to academia as an Adjunct Faculty - Capstone Coach at Brigham Young University, guiding engineering students on their projects. Previous positions include Sr. Staff Design Engineer and Sr. Staff Applications Engineer at Xilinx, where John Snow specialized in broadcast audio and video interface standards, and Director of Engineering at Evans & Sutherland, leading teams in the development of graphics systems. John Snow holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University, awarded in 1981.
