Clarence Plummer has over three decades of experience in the finance industry. Clarence currently holds the position of Senior Vice President at CoBank since January 2020. Prior to that, Clarence served as the Managing Director at ING Nederland from September 2017 to October 2019. Clarence also worked at ING Capital, LLC for a significant portion of their career, where they held several roles including Managing Director & Regional Head of Americas Syndicated Finance Group and Managing Director & Head of Credit Portfolio Management. Before joining ING Capital, LLC, Clarence was a Director at Merrill Lynch, where they held various roles in the Global Loan Syndications and Sales & Trading Group, as well as the Global Leveraged Finance Group. Clarence began their career at Bankers Trust Co. and later worked at Marine Midland Bank (acquired by HSBC) in roles within the Investment Banking Division and Corporate Banking Division.
Clarence Plummer holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Cornell University. Clarence also graduated from The Bronx High School of Science with a high school diploma. Additionally, Clarence has obtained certifications including Series 7, 63, and 24 from FINRA and UK Financial Regulations from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI).
