Michael Escobedo

Michael Escobedo is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in cybersecurity and risk analysis. Currently serving as the IT Assurance Manager at CoBank since January 2022, Michael previously worked as a Senior Cybersecurity Risk Analyst at DaVita Kidney Care from December 2016 to December 2021 and held the position of Cyber Security Analyst at InteliSecure, a division of Proofpoint, from November 2015 to July 2016. Prior to transitioning into cybersecurity, Michael was a Parole Officer with the Colorado Department of Corrections and had a foundational role as a Business Analyst at Sprint for over a decade. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Colorado Technical University, earned between 2007 and 2010, and is Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certified.
