Sam Han

Sam Han has over 25 years of work experience in various roles within the finance industry. Sam is currently a Managing Director in the Sponsor Finance division at CoBank since April 2023. Prior to this, Sam worked as the Head of Leveraged & Structured Finance and Deputy Head of Branch at Shinhan Bank New York Branch from October 2020 to March 2023. Sam also served as a Director in Leveraged Finance at BNP Paribas Securities Corp. from March 2016 to September 2020, and as a Vice President in Leveraged Finance at Jefferies LLC from February 2014 to February 2016. Sam previously worked at BNP Paribas Securities Corp. as a Senior Associate in Corporate Acquisition Finance from October 2010 to January 2014, and as an Associate in Power, Infrastructure & Project Finance from July 2008 to September 2010. Before their career in finance, Sam held the position of Head of Corporate Finance at Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd from March 1999 to March 2006. Sam began their professional journey as a Sergeant in the Republic of Korea Army Special Warfare Command from 1996 to 1999.

Sam Han has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Cornell University, which was obtained from 2006 to 2008. Sam also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the University of Miami, attained from 1992 to 1996. In addition, they have obtained a Series 63 License and a Series 7 License from FINRA in December 2008.
