Kyndra Stovall has extensive experience in education and research, currently serving as a High School Science Teacher at Cobb County School District since July 2017. Prior to this role, Kyndra worked as a Program Manager for the Office for Educational Outreach and Health Careers at Morehouse School of Medicine from March 2015 to July 2017 and held the position of HHMI Core Facilities Manager at Morehouse College from November 2013 to March 2015. Kyndra's research background includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Morehouse School of Medicine and Emory University School of Medicine, focusing on the role of neuregulin-1b in neuroinflammatory processes. Kyndra also served as a LeftBRAIN Instructor at Georgia State University, co-teaching molecular biology techniques and bioinformatics. Kyndra holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Spelman College.
