Alison May Hergen is a skilled costume and wardrobe professional with extensive experience in the performing arts, currently working as a Wardrobe Dresser at The Woodruff Arts Center for the production of The Preacher’s Wife. Hergen also serves as an Art Instructor at Studio 23, teaching various art mediums to students from toddlers to middle school age. Previous roles include Dresser/Wardrobe at The Fox Theatre and Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, with participation in major productions such as Beetlejuice and Hamilton. Additionally, Hergen has experience as an Overhire Costume Stitcher at The Atlanta Opera and Assistant Costume Designer at Out Front Theatre Company. Hergen holds dual Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Costume Design and Fiber, Textile and Weaving Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design.
