Xavi Amoros has a strong background in software engineering and product development. Their most recent role has been as a Senior Mobile Engineer at Cobee since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Spotahome from April 2018 to December 2022, where they were a Senior Software Engineer (Mobile/Frontend), responsible for building and maintaining three native apps using React Native. Xavi also defined the native apps architecture and technical roadmap.

Before joining Spotahome, Xavi worked at Primavera Sound S.L. from January 2017 to April 2018 as a Mobile Software Engineer. During their time there, they developed the Primavera Sound festival app using React Native and built a chatbot for the app and Facebook Messenger using Api.ai. Xavi also set up Amazon Lambda functions for a serverless architecture and developed another app for the Primavera Pro festival.

In 2016, Xavi co-founded a stealth startup that aimed to help tenants find houses for rent without agency fees. Xavi held the role of co-founder and acted as the product owner, taking care of technical tasks as well. Xavi was involved in all aspects of the product development, from idea inception to customer validation.

Prior to this, they co-founded Huballin in 2014, an online marketing tool that helped content creators discover hidden content opportunities and SEO keywords. Here, they served as a Product Owner, creating user stories and defining/prioritizing the backlog for the next sprint.

Before Huballin, Xavi co-founded NotedLinks S.L. in 2013, where they developed an SEO tool and WordPress widget to help websites improve their internal link structure. As the Product Owner, they created user stories, defined/prioritized the backlog, and worked closely with UX designers to create wireframes and mockups.

In 2013, Xavi volunteered as an SEO Strategist for Worldreader, a non-profit organization focused on fighting illiteracy in the developing world. Xavi trained writers on basic SEO principles and conducted SEO keyword research to optimize their content.

In 2012, Xavi worked as a freelance Service Innovation Researcher for Citymart.com, where they researched innovative solutions to address social and urban challenges for cities. Xavi also contacted companies to address challenges presented by participant cities.

In 2011, Xavi worked at ASCAMM Foundation as a Software Developer, working on a web-based project management solution and implementing an algorithm for accurate battery calculation in electric cars. Xavi also programmed the software for an Ultrasonic molding Machine.

Prior to that, Xavi served as CTO at Mobile-Culture in 2011. Xavi developed two web apps for French newspapers using the Sproutcore (now Ember.js) JavaScript framework.

Xavi Amoros has a strong educational background in the field of telecommunications and internet business. Xavi started their education journey in 2002, graduating from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) with a degree in Electrical Engineering in Telecommunications in 2007.

In 2007, Xavi pursued further studies at the Delft University of Technology, where they obtained a Master of Science in Telecommunications in 2008. This experience provided him with a deeper understanding of the field and expanded their knowledge.

After a few years of professional experience, Xavi decided to enhance their business skills by completing an MBAi - Master en Dirección de Empresas de Internet at IEBS in 2013. This degree focused on internet business and leadership, providing him with valuable skills necessary to excel in today's digital environment.

To further strengthen their expertise, Xavi also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in December 2014. This certification demonstrates their commitment to keeping up with the latest technological advancements in their field.
