Dave Howie

Dave Howie has over 13 years of work experience in various engineering and management roles. Dave began their career at Saab EDS, where they served as an Engineering Manager for the Electronic Warfare business unit and later as an Executive Manager of Product Development. Dave then worked as the Chief Technical Officer at Poynting Antennas Defence and Specialized, where they managed the engineering department and oversaw multiple product developments. After that, Dave served as the Chief Operating Officer at Ansys Limited, where they were responsible for the engineering group, programs, production and maintenance, IT, SHEQ, and defense strategy. Currently, they hold the position of Head Systems Engineering at Cobham Aerospace Communications.

Dave Howie obtained a Master of Science degree in Microwave Propagation from the University of Cape Town between the years 1982 and 1985.
