Thiago Lourençoni

Thiago Lourençoni has a strong background in software engineering, with over 19 years of experience in the field. Thiago is currently working as a Software Engineer at Cobli, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at OLX Brasil as a Software Engineer on the Advertising and Partnerships team, where they helped create a new platform for advertising partnerships using technologies such as NodeJs, Typescript, and AWS.

Before OLX Brasil, Thiago worked at Elo7 as a Software Engineer, participating in pair-programming and contributing to the development of new features for the company's marketplace software. Thiago also played a key role in the architectural shift towards an event-driven microservice architecture and helped design and deploy a new microservice for the company's social platform.

Thiago's work experience also includes a role as a Senior Software Developer at Buscapé Company, where they optimized an image processing software, improving reliability and performance while reducing infrastructure costs. Thiago also served as the Scrum Master for one of the company's agile teams.

Prior to that, Thiago worked as a Software Developer at Totvs, where they contributed to the development of a product for the financial market and applied agile practices such as XP and Scrum. Thiago also contributed to Hibernate's auditing module.

Thiago began their career as a System Analyst/Software Developer at Opuscom, where they designed and developed systems for clients like CEF and Ibi. Thiago also worked as a Software Architect consultant for CEF during their time there.

Thiago's earliest work experience was as a Software Development Intern at Websee Interatividade Qualificada.

Throughout their career, Thiago has worked with various technologies and tools, including NodeJs, Typescript, GitLab, AWS, Docker, Terraform, StatsD, Grafana, JSF, Struts, GWT, Spring, Hibernate, PL/SQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.

Thiago Lourençoni completed their bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) between 1997 and 2001. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification named FCE - Level B2 in the Council of Europe from the University of Cambridge in June 2004.
