Andrew Jm Matthews

Andrew JM Matthews serves as Part-time General Counsel at Cobra International since June 2018 and holds the position of Associate Lecturer in Commercial Law for the LLM program at Birkbeck, University of London since December 2022. Prior experience includes a distinguished role as Partner at Clifford Chance LLP from April 1995 to May 2018, where Andrew established the Prague Office as the first Office Managing Partner and later worked in the Rome Office. Academic qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate Governance, Finance, and Insolvency Law from Jesus College, University of Cambridge, and a BA (Honours) in Law and Politics from University College, University of Durham, along with various legal qualifications from the College of Law and the Thai Institute of Directors.
