Clare Wardle

Clare Wardle is the current General Counsel & Company Secretary at Coca-Cola European Partners. Clare has extensive experience in legal, risk, compliance and governance strategy, leadership and management. Prior to their current role, Clare served as the Group General Counsel at Kingfisher from August 2010 to July 2016. In this role, Clare was responsible for managing legal risk and opportunities for the telecoms, financial services. post and other businesses of the Post Office retail network. Clare also served as the Head of Legal Services at Post Office Ltd from August 2006 to January 2009. In this role, Clare was responsible for managing legal risk and opportunities for the telecoms, financial services. post and other businesses of the Post Office retail network. Clare has also held the position of IP and Commercial Director, Legal Services at Royal Mail Group Ltd from January 2001 to December 2006. Prior to that, Clare worked as a solicitor at Lovells from January 1986 to December 1996. Clare has also served as a Commercial Director at Tube Lines Limited from March 2010 to June 2010 and as a Non-executive director at ViaCode Ltd from July 1999 to March 2002.

Clare Wardle has a Master's Degree in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford. Clare is also a Chartered Secretary and an Accredited Mediator. Clare has a Diploma in Competition Law from King's College London.
