Farsana A is a PhD Scholar currently engaged in research on the microbial-driven nitrogen cycle from polar water masses at Cochin University of Science and Technology since January 2023. Prior to this role, Farsana held the position of Junior Research Fellow at CUSAT-NCPOR, focusing on the microbiome of the glaciomarine system of Svalbard from July 2022 to January 2023. Farsana also contributed as a Project Intern at Cochin University of Science and Technology in early 2021, working on polar isolates, and completed a dissertation on the microbial desalination system. Educational qualifications include a postgraduate degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Cochin University of Science and Technology (2019-2021) and a bachelor's degree in Zoology from the University of Calicut (2016-2019).
