Howard Weale

Howard Weale currently serves as the VP of Global System Integrators at Cockroach Labs, where responsibilities include aiding GSI partners in delivering database solutions with Cockroach DB. Previously, Howard Weale was involved in a stealth startup from April 2023 to November 2023 and held the position of Director at Google from August 2019 to April 2023, where leadership focused on transforming large systems and migrating enterprise workloads to Google Cloud. Prior experience includes serving as CEO of Lightyear Consulting from March 1991 to August 2019, overseeing large-scale database transformations for Fortune 500 clients across multiple regions, and working as a Database Expert at IBM Canada Ltd. from January 1990 to 1996. Howard Weale is an alumnus of the University of Calgary.
