Maria Lagou has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. MARIA began their career at Philip Morris International in 1998 as a Marketing Promotions Representative and later became a Supervisor. In 2000, they joined Diageo in a similar role. In 2004, Maria joined W.S. Karoulias SA as a Junior Brand Manager and then became a Brand Manager, responsible for the Cutty Sark brand. MARIA worked at W.S Karoulias until 2012. From 2012 to 2016, Maria worked at EUREKA GROUP / Ευρηκα as a Brand Manager. In 2016, they joined Creta Farms Foods SA as a Senior Brand Manager. Their next position was at Sarantis Group, where they worked as a Senior Category Manager from 2017 to 2019, responsible for the Food Packaging category. After Sarantis Group, Maria worked at KRI KRI SA as a Senior Brand Manager from 2019 to 2021, responsible for the Dairy category and overseeing the sales of 55m€. MARIA then joined TEFACO S.A. in 2022 as a Retail Business Development Manager. Currently, Maria is the Head of Marketing at COCO-MAT, starting their role in June 2023.
Maria Lagou earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Cardiff University in Wales, United Kingdom, from 2002 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece, from 1998 to 2002. Maria Lagou also attended the 6th Lyceum of Zografou for Senior High School, graduating in 1997.
