Whitney Lauren Stewart

Whitney Lauren Stewart has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Whitney Lauren began their career at Context Partners, where they worked as a Project Manager, Content Associate, and later as a Design Strategist. During this time, they gained skills in project management, content creation, and design thinking.

In 2019, Whitney took an anthropological gap year and served as a General Manager at Lchang Nang Retreat in Ladakh, where they oversaw all operations and communications of the eco resort. Whitney Lauren'sresponsibilities included staff management, system improvement, and partnership building.

Whitney continued their gap year in 2020 as the General Manager at Muang La Lodge in Northern Laos. Here, they successfully managed a cross-functional team and achieved high guest satisfaction by implementing cost control measures and introducing a new wellness program.

After their gap year, Whitney joined The Global Knowledge Initiative as a Design Strategist. Whitney Lauren worked at the intersection of design thinking and systems change, honing their skills in content synthesis, project management, and facilitation. Some notable contributions include designing and implementing an Embodied Mindfulness course for social impact leaders and executing the organization's marketing and engagement strategy.

Currently, Whitney is working at co:collective as a Senior Client Engagement Manager and has recently been promoted to the role of Director of Client Engagement starting in July 2023.

Whitney Lauren Stewart holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies (Mandarin Chinese), Cultural Anthropology, and International Development from Tulane University. Whitney Lauren also completed a Chinese Studies and Internship program at Donghua University, where they focused on Mandarin Intensive, Asian Economics, and Internship. In addition to their formal education, Whitney has obtained several certifications, including a Certificate in Design for Systems Innovation and Leadership from the University for Peace, Centre for Executive Education. Whitney Lauren also holds certifications in Search Inside Yourself Leadership, 200 Hour Yoga Teaching, Data Foundations, Introduction to Data Analysis Using Excel, Introduction to Spreadsheets and Models, and Fundamentals of Quantitative Modeling from institutions such as SIY Global, School Yoga Institute, Udacity, and Coursera.
