Eric Espinosa has a diverse work experience, beginning with their current role as the CEO and Co-founder of Coconut VA, a Virtual Assistant Staffing Agency that aims to provide benefits for VAs and lower the risk for entrepreneurs. Prior to this, they were the CEO and Founder of Venture Validator, a market research firm that helped startups find product/market fit. The company was successfully acquired by Fundable Startups. Additionally, Eric worked as an Adjunct Entrepreneurship Professor at Brigham Young University, where they introduced a new course on practical business validation tools. Before that, they gained experience as a Startup Validation Consultant at Wow Factor Consulting, where they innovated on the process of testing pre-launch products. Eric's entrepreneurial journey began with their startup, Fresh Stamp, where they developed an expiration date barcode add-on for grocery stores. The startup won various competitions, but Eric chose to focus on business model validation rather than accepting investment offers.
Eric Espinosa attended Brigham Young University from 2016 to 2018, where they pursued a degree in Entrepreneurial Management. In 2017, they also participated in a program called Startup Ignition, focusing on Lean Startup methodology. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management, General, at Shasta College from 2012 to 2016.
