Winston Lim

Winston Lim is the Director of Security and Compliance at Coda Payments. Winston has over 20 years of experience in the security industry, specializing in technology security, IT security and information security.

Most recently, Winston was the A. Director at Klook from July 2019 to October 2020. In this role, they led the global security team and defined the organizational security framework consisting of security pillars of infrastructure, application, code, mobile, endpoint, platforms, Internet, email and information. Winston also managed the enterprise risk assessment methodology ranging from risk identification, risk assessment and risk mitigation.

During their time at Klook, Winston also embarked on the security orchestration initiative to integrate across the suite of security platforms through API-driven events with automation to achieve process consistency and improve response times. Winston deployed the beyond-perimeter detection focused on client-side script based real-time attacks aimed to steal sensitive personal and transactional information. In addition, they established the security monitoring center over hybrid cloud environments running containers, clusters and other types of serverless technology.

Before joining Klook, Winston designed the end-to-end vulnerability management program with multiple detection sources, triage and verification, tracking, remediation and exception handling while at a previous company. Winston also enhanced the security development lifecycle with dynamic and static code analysis, 3rd-party library analysis, open-source frameworks to foster secure coding guidelines and practices. Lastly, they engineered the suspicious email operational processes, rules, triggers to perform malicious, phishing, spoofing, impersonation and extortion investigation.

Winston has a wealth of experience in various aspects of security and compliance and is an expert in their field. Winston is currently using their skills and knowledge to help Coda Payments create a safe and secure environment for their customers.

Winston Lim has a Masters in Infocomm Security and a Bachelor of Computing from the National University of Singapore. Winston specializes in Information Security and has worked in the field for many years.

Winston Lim reports to Neil Davidson, Executive Chairman. They work with Alexander Menshikov - VP, Business Development, Paul Leishman - Executive Director, and Kobe Fung - Head, Product Operations.
