Carl Hutschenreuther

Director Experience Strategy at Code and Theory

Carl Hutschenreuther has extensive work experience in the field of experience strategy and design. Carl is currently serving as the Director of Experience Strategy at Code and Theory since January 2022. Before this role, they held the position of Associate Director of Experience Strategy at the same company from October 2019 to January 2022.

Prior to joining Code and Theory, Carl worked at Ogilvy, where they held various roles in strategy and experience design. From October 2018 to October 2019, they served as the Director of Strategy & Experience Design. Before that, they were the Associate Director of Strategy & Experience Design from May 2017 to October 2018. Carl started their career at Ogilvy as a Senior Creative Strategist from March 2014 to May 2017.

Before their time at Ogilvy, Carl worked as a Freelance Design Strategist from October 2012 to March 2014. Carl also gained experience as a Creative/Production Assistant in Branded Content at @radical.media from August 2010 to October 2012. Carl'searliest experience in the industry was as a Production Assistant at Atelier Markgraph from July 2006 to April 2007.

Carl Hutschenreuther began their education in 2007 at Design Akademie Berlin, where they pursued a degree in Marketing Communications. Carl completed their studies in 2010 and obtained a Diplom Kommunikationswirt. In 2012, they attended Hyper Island in New York City for a Master Class in Digital Media. The following year, from 2013 to 2014, Carl continued their education at Hyper Island in Manchester, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Digital Media Management.
