Rowan Deer

Rowan Deer is a Learning Science Researcher at CODE University of Applied Sciences, where they are responsible for researching and writing science communication content. Prior to this role, Rowan worked as an Editor at Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW) and as a Research Associate at the University of Sussex. With a background in English literature and critical theory, Rowan has also worked as a Narrator, Voice Actor, and Associate Producer on various projects related to Shakespeare and literature. Their experience ranges from hosting podcasts to writing and hosting video and event series exploring the effects of space travel. Additionally, Rowan has experience in academia, including designing and leading seminars as a Doctoral Tutor.
