Amy Murdock is a Principal at CCI with extensive experience in fire protection engineering. As a Board Member of the University of Maryland's Department of Fire Protection Engineering Board of Visitors, Murdock contributes to enhancing the department's recognition and support in education and research. Murdock also serves as an Emeritus Member of the Curriculum Advisory Committee, focusing on maintaining high academic standards in fire protection curricula. Additionally, Murdock chairs the NFPA 101 Technical Committee on Mercantile and Business Occupancies, overseeing critical documents related to fire safety. Murdock’s early career includes roles as a Fire Protection Research Assistant at the University of Maryland and as a volunteer firefighter and EMT in various departments. Murdock holds a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland.
