Catalina Prada Valderrama

Design Manager at Code for America

Catalina Prada Valderrama is a Senior Service Designer at Code for America where she works alongside governments to apply human centered design to their programs and services. Before joining Code for America, Catalina was the outreach and communications director for the Mayor’s Office of Food Access in the City of Boston. Before that, she worked for the City of Chicago, and A Piece of Pie, an innovation consulting firm in Colombia.

As a designer, Catalina enjoys applying both design and engineering to craft inclusive and equitable public services. Catalina holds a Master’s degree in Design and Public Administration from IIT’s Institute of Design, and a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration from Universidad de Los Andes, Colombia.
