Clara Asumadu

Service Designer at Code for America

Clara is a Service Designer on a mission to incite social change through informed and disruptive design. She’s passionate about storytelling and believes innovative ideas are nested in the emotionally compelling stories people tell when asked the right questions. In her past work, she’s helped legacy companies build innovation teams and strategies for ways of working to enable them to tap into global markets. She’s collaborated with coworkers to create an internal well-being initiative that connects colleagues through asynchronous and synchronous team-building activities. She’s worked on projects centered around underserved populations and complex subjects like youth mental healthcare, life-threatening women’s health conditions, and access to care for black people.
