Cassie is a former educator committed to work that addresses educational equity and the digital divide. Before Code Nation, she was a special education teacher in Chicago and San Francisco, where she coached new teachers, and engaged in policy and advocacy work. In her spare time, Cassie enjoys running, exploring the outdoors, and occasionally watching reality television.
