Sam Bernardon is an experienced engineer specializing in autonomous vehicle software, design, and testing. Currently serving as Lead Autonomous Race Car Software Engineer and Technical Project Manager at Code19 Racing, Sam oversees all aspects of software testing and development, focusing on planning and controls. Previous experience includes positions at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory as a Robotics Software Engineer, and at Motional and Aptiv where Sam led test engineering teams and developed critical software and control algorithms for autonomous vehicles.
