Blayne Wagner

Blayne Wagner is a Software Engineer II at Atlassian, focusing on Bitbucket Cloud since September 2021. In addition to current professional responsibilities, Blayne serves as a Volunteer Python Instructor at Code2College, an organization dedicated to increasing the representation of minority and low-income students in STEM fields. Previously, Blayne worked at Chevron from August 2018 to September 2021 in roles including Software Engineer for Data & Insights and Cloud Services, and at Boeing from April 2017 to July 2018 as a Software Tester and Automation Developer. Blayne began a journey in computational research as a Research Assistant in Computational Particle Physics at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from October 2016 to June 2018, where simulations of particle traversals through crystals were conducted. Blayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, awarded in 2018, and is currently pursuing additional education at Universidad Nacional.
