Kevin Wennemuth

Kevin Wennemuth has extensive work experience in IT, with a focus on security and consulting. Kevin is currently the Head of IT Security at codecentric AG since January 2020. Prior to that, they held the positions of Principal IT Security Consultant and Senior IT Consultant/Developer at the same company.

Before joining codecentric AG, Kevin worked at Finanz Informatik Solutions Plus GmbH from 2009 to 2017, where they served as the Specialist Software Engineer/Leitung DevOps and later as the Senior Software Ingenieur/Leitung DevOps.

Kevin also has experience as a CTO at Repair Management GmbH from 2004 to 2009 and as the Leitung IT at b² Medienproduktion GbR from 2002 to 2003.

Previously, Kevin held various roles such as Teamleiter IT at concentrum GmbH, BARC - Business Application Research Center from 2000 to 2002, IT-Berater at Allbecon IT GmbH in 2002, Data-Warehouse-Berater at Höltl Datentechnik GmbH from 2000 to 2001, Agile Coach at ICM Deutschland GmbH in 1999, IT-Berater at Rexroth Unternehmensberatung from 1997 to 1998, and Praktikant at Hoechst AG in 1996.

Kevin Wennemuth has a diverse education history. Kevin started their education at Modellschule Obersberg in 1996, where they pursued a degree as an Assistant for Wirtschaftsinformatik with a focus on Informatik. Kevin completed this program in 1999. In the same year, they also obtained a Jugendgruppenleiter degree from Land Hessen.

In 2000, Kevin enrolled at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg to study Wirtschaftsinformatik. However, the duration of this program is not provided, and it is unclear if they completed a degree in this field.

Following their time at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, Kevin attended Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen from 2003 to 2008. Kevin obtained a Diplom degree in Informatik.

In addition to their formal education, Kevin has pursued various certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Attacking and Defending Azure AD Cloud from Pentester Academy (obtained in February 2022), Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org (obtained in November 2021), Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I) also from Scrum.org (obtained in November 2021), and GitLab Certified Git Associate from GitLab (obtained in April 2021). Kevin has also obtained several certifications related to ethical hacking and penetration testing, such as eJPT Certified Penetration Tester from eLearnSecurity (obtained in February 2019), hackthebox ethical hacking world rank from hackthebox.eu (obtained in July 2019), and Hacking[advanced] - IT Security und Penetration Testing from HACKATTACK IT SECURITY (obtained in April 2016).

Furthermore, Kevin has obtained certifications in project management, software development, and other related areas. Some of these certifications include Certified SCRUM Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance (obtained in July 2014), Clean Code Zertifizierung (obtained in March 2012), Informatica PowerCenter certifications (obtained in November 2011 and March 2011), Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG) Schulung (obtained in October 2011), and TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Integration Boot Camp from TIBCO Software Inc. (obtained in December 2010).
