Jordan Byrd-Eveland

Jordan Byrd-Eveland is a Curriculum Development Specialist at Codelicious. Jordan has been in this role for 1 year and 6 months, and is responsible for building Computer Science K-12 curriculum that both empowers teachers and drives student outcomes. Prior to their current role, Jordan was an Education and Youth Support Specialist at JCC Indianapolis, where they created and implemented programming for the Youth department, including After-School Care, summer day camp, and School's Out Days. Jordan also supervised the Israeli Emissary Shinshinim program for Indianapolis. Before that, Jordan was the Director of Scholar Recruitment and Bilingual Match Specialist at Starfish Initiative, where they presented to potential Scholars at 50 Marion County schools serving large populations of 21st Century Scholars eligible 8th-grade students. Jordan also collaborated with other staff members to plan events for Scholars, their families, and Mentors. As a bilingual Match Specialist, they managed 83 Mentor/Scholar pairs. Jordan has a passion for working with youth and helping them reach their full potential.
