Aidan Belton-Schure

Aidan Belton-Schure has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Theater Electrician at Starting Arts, where they organized gear and equipment for multiple performances and set up spaces for various performances, ranging from small cafeterias to large theaters.

In 2019, Aidan joined TAU Racing as the Head of Suspension, where they created vehicle models to analyze packaging changes and performed tire analysis to compare different options. In 2020, they became the Technical Director, leading the technical departments and making final decisions on designs. Aidan also created design guidelines and processes to minimize mistakes and reduce task time, ensuring that departments worked together towards a common goal.

Currently, Aidan is working at Codeplay Software as a Software Engineer, specializing in high-performance computing for SYCL. Aidan works on both open and closed-source projects, targeting a range of computing devices from CPUs to GPUs.

Aidan Belton-Schure attended De Anza College from 2013 to 2015, where they studied Computer Science. Aidan then transferred to Foothill College in 2016 for Electrical and Electronics Engineering studies. After that, Aidan enrolled at the University of Aberdeen from 2017 to 2021, earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
