Dawna Kelley

Dawna Kelley has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Project Coordinator for Trees for Tucson at Tucson Clean & Beautiful. In 2014, they transitioned to the role of Pool & Landscape Designer at Omni Pool Builders and Design LLC. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Landscape Architectural Designer at Solana Outdoor Living, where they designed luxury outdoor environments. In 2016, they became a Co-Owner of CrossFit Purgatory, focusing on strategy, marketing, and operations, and successfully increased membership and overall member satisfaction. In 2017, they founded their own independent landscape design firm, Illume Design LLC, as a Principal Designer, completing high-level conceptual drawings and detailed construction documents. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a UX Designer at DevMountain, where they contributed to the design, research, and development of mobile applications. Dawna then joined HabitGrams as a Product Designer, where they facilitated user story mapping exercises, developed wireframes and prototypes, and conducted user surveys and interviews. In 2019, they additionally worked as a Learning Experience Designer at WGU Labs. Most recently, they joined CodeScience in 2022 as a Product Designer and Product Lead, where they have taken on product ownership responsibilities, coordinated design teams, advocated for human-centered design principles, and facilitated workshops and surveys.

Dawna Kelley's education history begins with an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in English from Missouri State University, which they obtained from 1996 to 1998. Dawna then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Landscape Architecture/Illustration from Southwest University of Visual Arts from 2010 to 2013.

In 2018, Dawna Kelley obtained a Certification in User Experience Design from Devmountain. Dawna further expanded their skills by earning a Certified Graduate - UX Design certification from DevMountain in February 2019.

Dawna Kelley has also obtained various certifications outside of their formal education. Dawna is a Certified Urban Forester through the Tucson Botanical Gardens, which they achieved in April 2013. Additionally, they hold a Certified Arborist certification from the International Society of Arboriculture, received in June 2018.

More recently, Dawna Kelley has obtained certifications related to project management and agile methodologies. Dawna became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance in December 2022 and later obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from the same institution in July 2023. Additionally, they received the Foundations of Project Management certification from Coursera in December 2022.

In terms of specific skills, Dawna Kelley has also acquired the Salesforce Certified Associate certification from Salesforce in June 2023.
