Ruud Wichers Schreur

Ruud Wichers Schreur has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Ruud currently works at Codit as a Domain Lead, focusing on IoT, Data Platforms, and Analytics, and also serves as an Azure Consultant. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Maastricht as a PhD candidate. Ruud has also gained experience at Isala Hospital, where they supported the implementation of an Electronic Patient Dossier. Additionally, they completed a research internship at The University of Sheffield and had part-time roles at ANWB Alarmcentrale and Jumbo Supermarkten.

Ruud Wichers Schreur holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Biomedical Research from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, which they obtained from 2011 to 2015. Ruud later pursued their Master of Science in Biomedical Science at the University of Groningen from 2015 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Ruud has obtained various certifications including those in Azure Data Explorer, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer, and Azure IoT Developer. Ruud has also completed courses in AI applications on Azure and is certified in Azure AI Fundamentals.
